Evernight authors are sharing holiday recipes all month long. Author Jocelyn Dex has a special recipe for your favorite pooch today. That's right! Holiday treats for your dog. Speaking of four-legged creatures, don't miss Jocelyn's Fated Foxes Series!

Pumpkin Oatmeal Balls for your Doggy

· 5 cups rolled oats, regular or quick

· 1 8 oz can 100% pumpkin puree

· 2 large eggs

1. Preheat the oven to 250°F. Lightly grease 1 or 2 baking sheets.

2. Mix oats, pumpkin, and eggs in bowl until thoroughly blended. Mix should not be too wet or too dry. Should resemble cookie dough. If mix is too wet, add more oatmeal until desired consistency.

3. Roll your desired size ball (I make 1” to 1 ½” balls) with your hands and place on baking sheet.

4. Repeat until all mix is rolled.

5. Cook for 2 hours, let cool, and then let your doggy take a pumpkin oatmeal ball for a taste test.

6. Store the rest in a freezer bag or other airtight container.

Fated Foxes, 1

Hale, a fox shifter, hates everyone and everything—especially himself. He’s an angry, bitter, mentally unstable drunk who blames himself for his mate’s death. Not being able to tolerate being in the presence of female fox shifters, uncontrollable rage erupts when he meets Hope, and he’s torn between killing her and kissing her.

Hope knows she has to have Hale the second he steps inside her shop. The fox inside her comes to life and demands to be claimed. Even though Hale is vulgar, volatile, and threatens her at every turn, she wants to ease his pain, bring joy back into his life, and make him hers.

Can Hope break through Hale’s walls and awaken the alpha within, or will Hale finally scare her away for good?
