AUTHOR POST & BOOK GIVEAWAY: Lea Bronsen's Journey to the Evernight Family!

We're celebrating 9 years of delivering SMART & SEXY ROMANCE to our readers! Each day our authors share why they love being an Evernight author and we'll share a prize with a lucky winner.

Today we welcome Lea Bronsen to the blog...

I’ll never forget a spring day in 2013 when I, to my complete bewilderment, received an acceptance email for my rock star romance My Biggest Fan and asked my bestie DC Stone, who was already an Evernight author and had encouraged me to submit the story, “Do you think I can post the news on the reader’s group on Facebook? Or is it too soon, maybe I’m not considered an Evernight author yet and I’ll be thrown out...” She just laughed, posted the most heartwarming welcome note in the group, and the readers gave it an overwhelming response!

Those were my baby steps into the Evernight family, and since then, I have felt at home. I live in Norway, a tiny, remote, and cold country far from everything Evernight-related – the publisher, the editors, fellow authors, and most of their lovely readers, so meeting many of them online over the years has been a true enrichment of my life. The Evernight family is big, welcoming, and majorly supportive, and it’s a safe go-to for anything a sometimes lonely and oftentimes insecure writer might want to chat about.

Also, I learned to speak my first English words at the age of eight, so to be able to say that little me is actually a real author signed with an international publishing house releasing English-speaking books worldwide still bugs my mind. I never dared to dream that much, but it proves one thing: Reaching for the stars is worth the try. And now, although I release some of my more deviant stories independently, I always keep Evernight and its fantastic readers in mind while writing a new book – then bite my nails to blood waiting for the publisher’s reply and the readers’ verdict, ha ha 😊

Lastly, some praise for my fellow Evernight authors: What a talented bunch you are! What an unending source of inspiration! And what genuinely generous and caring people I am humbled and thankful to call my friends.

Today's prize is The Perfect Shoot, Book 1 of Lea's HOT MODEL MINE SERIES  in the winners choice of eBook format. To enter for the chance to win, tell us where you'd love to travel comments. Please also include your email address so we can contact you if you're the lucky winner!

AUTHOR POST & GIVEAWAY: Happy 53 James Cox!

We're celebrating 9 years of delivering SMART & SEXY ROMANCE to our readers! Each day our authors share why they love being an Evernight author and we'll share a prize with a lucky winner.

Today we welcome James Cox to the blog...

In a few months my 53rd book will be published with Evernight. Think about that a moment. Fifty-three books. Fifty-three with the same publisher! That should really tell you all you need to know about Evernight. They are amazing. I usually thank them in the dedication to my books. The owner, editors, cover artist, everyone at Evernight has been nothing but a pleasure to work with.
My first book with them was my debut, The Last Cowboy. It was a series about the end of the world but told in reverse. The first book was surviving the apocalypse and the last book was how the end of the world started. From there I delved into sci-fi and fantasy, fairytale and suspense. Through it all Evernight was there correcting my grammar, which let’s face it, I need all the help I can get but they were really nice about it, lol. They created amazing cover art that usually had me drooling.
I wasn’t sure if writing was for me at the beginning. Yes, I wanted to but with a full-time job I wasn’t sure I had time or skill. Evernight was my cheerleader, without the costumes, lol. They are always a pleasure to deal with. That’s why I’m writing this post. I want to share with y’all for Evernight’s 9 year celebration. They deserve to be rewarded with all the good vibes and complimentary posts. Without them, you wouldn’t have my crazy, sexy stories: sex during the apocalypse, handsome heroes with two dicks, tails and rainbow cum, strippers in space, sexy steampunk, bikers on mars, extremely dirty fairytales and my new suspense series with men falling in love while trying to survive a serial killer. Without Evernight, I wouldn’t have discovered all these readers that have quickly become friends.
I guess I just have to thank Evernight Publishing for everything! For the books, for the readers, for the reviews, for the friends. I look forward to another year with y’all!

Today's prize is Book 1 of A Cox Fairytale Series: The Forest of Dark Delights  in the winners choice of eBook format. To enter for the chance to win, tell us about your Halloween plans in comments. Please also include your email address so we can contact you if you're the lucky winner!

AUTHOR POST & GIVEAWAY: Happy 9th birthday, Evernight Publishing by D.A. Maddox

We're celebrating 9 years of delivering SMART & SEXY ROMANCE to our readers! Each day our authors share why they love being an Evernight author and we'll share a prize with a lucky winner.

Today we welcome D.A. Maddox to the blog...

Happy 9th birthday, Evernight Publishing!

To most people reading this, I’m one of the new kids on the block. My Evernight name is D.A. Maddox, and my debut novel, Piper’s Price, just hit on the first of this month. It was the first book of that sort I’d ever written—and I have to say, I was nervous as hell while I was typing out most of it. If it weren’t for the constant encouragement and advice of other Evernight authors like Erin Leaf and Aletta Thorne, I don’t know if I would ever would have gotten to the end of it, much less sent it in for consideration. But I’m one of the lucky ones. I’ve actually been hiding out at this publishing company, in plain sight, for some time.

My real name is Marcus Damanda, and I got my first break in the publishing world courtesy of Evernight Teen four years ago. After literally thirty years of writing books and stories and sending them off into the void for naught, after screaming into the proverbial wind for half my life, the teen branch of Evernight Publishing took on Devils in the Dark, the first in my horror trilogy The Devil in Miss Drake’s Class. In the end, they published all three—and two years later embraced my dystopian sci-fi trilogy, The Salvation State. The support I’ve gotten from Christine Klocek-Lim, Sandra Pesso, Jay Aheer, Tricia Kristufek, Karyn White, and of course Stacey Adderley cannot be overstated. The friendships and professional partnerships with fellow authors like Christine Potter, S.D. Wasley, Kim Harnes, and so many others, has been nothing short of life changing.

I still love writing stuff for young people. I’m a teacher, in my real—or perhaps I should say other—life. But you know what? Now that I’ve taken a step or two into the wilder side of Evernight Publishing, I must confess it’s a lot of fun. I’m hopeful that Piper’s Pricewill be the first of many naughty story romps at Evernight, and that you’ll be hearing quite a lot more from me soon.

God bless you, Evernight. You’ve made my darkest and most delightful dreams come true.

Today's prize is PIPER'S PRICE in the winners choice of eBook format. To enter for the chance to win, tell us about your Halloween plans in comments. Please also include your email address so we can contact you if you're the lucky winner!

SURPRISE BOX GIVEAWAY & AUTHOR POST by SAM CRESCENT

We're celebrating 9 years of delivering SMART & SEXY ROMANCE to our readers! Each day our authors share why they love being an Evernight author and we'll share a prize with a lucky winner.

Today we welcome best selling author Sam Crescent to the blog...

First, I want to say a big congratulations to Evernight Publishing for 9 years of amazing publishing. I’ve been with them for 7 of those years, and I can tell you, it has been a dream come true.
All I ever wanted to be was a full-time author and even though I did receive a couple of rejections and revisions from Evernight, the moment they accepted Blackmailed by the Beast, I have not looked back. They have helped me every single step of the way, to grow as an author and to develop my craft. They’re always helpful. No question is ever too much, and they are always willing to be there. They have taken chances on me through MC into darkness and taboo, and back again into light romance. They allow me to expand and grow and they never restrict either. You’re free to write.
In the past few months, since dealing with illness and exhaustion, Evernight have been there to help, and I will never ever forget this. They will work with you to help you in so many different ways.
I’ve made some amazing connections and friends through Evernight and found two writing buddies as well. They are awesome. Of course, their covers rock and sometimes I write just to see the amazing cover art. The team is the best. They make you feel part of it all.
I’m proud to be an Evernight author. They have helped me to find my voice, explore myself, and to flourish. Thank you so much for everything you have given me. I only hope I can give back in return.
Sending you all wishes of health and success, and looking forward to the future at Evernight.

AUTHOR POST & GIVEAWAY: Debut author Christine Anna Kirchoff

We're celebrating 9 years of delivering SMART & SEXY ROMANCE to our readers! Each day our authors share why they love being an Evernight author and we'll share a prize with a lucky winner.

Welcome Christine Anna Kirchoff, author of Lie to Me from Evernight Teen ...

Evernight Publishing is the very first company that took a chance on my debut novel. Lie to Me was a dream of mine. The first of many stories in my head I had to write down. They took that chance and I’m so grateful to them. The process had me nervous. Come on, all potential authors heard the horror stories. Evernight was just easy to deal with. They made it friendly but professional. For my first time dealing with any kind of publishing it was an unexpected gift.  Cover art, edits, contracts, advertising, they helped with it all. You really can’t find a better publisher.
Writing has always been this small want in the back of my mind. As life unfolded, that voice became louder and louder. When I wrote my first book it was like a calling. Nun’s got nothing on a writer’s calling. The two am writing, the lack of laundry because you were busy writing, the post-it’s with plot ideas all over the place, it’s something you have to love to enjoy.
Lie to Me was always going to be an angel story but I wanted to write something different. Let’s face it, there are a million angel stories out there. To give my book a spin I based the angels in Buddhism. There’s such an interesting world of religions out there and I found Buddhism so fascinating. Without Evernight I would have never been able to bring my Buddhist angels into the light.
Thank you Evernight. For the chance. For making the process so author friendly. Congratulations on 9 years of publishing!

Today's prize is Christine's debut YA LIE TO ME in the winners choice of eBook format. To enter for the chance to win, tell us about your favorite thing to do during the Fall months in comments. Please also include your email address so we can contact you if you're the lucky winner!
